ROFLOL! I love technical terms like that; use 'em all the time nowadays!
That was acrylic paint on a large canvas, 30 x 40 inches if I recall correctly. I used to hate acrylics passionately, but now I love seeing all the different effects that can be gotten with them!
You can see how much I remember from art classes. So you can be a member of the National Art Honor Society in high school and not learn anything. Or maybe my lack of knowledge has more to do with getting kicked out of it for getting a C in drawing ;-)
Anyway, very nice. I never was any good at painting. Especially something that large. I really like all the lighting effects and the little highlights in her hair.
It's a good thing she's wearing a glove. I'd hate to handle a flaming phoenix bare handed :D
I am very perky!!! I tend to ENTHUSE and use CAPITAL LETTERS and exclamation points!!! I persist in calling this a feature, not a bug.
I will provide free illustration for publication in a scholarly work authored by anyone with a single-digit Erdös number!!!

Thanks very much! I appreciate the feedback. I love to play with lighting (except when I hate it because it isn't WORKING, DAMMIT!!!)
*sigh* Those high school art classes! I did well in drawing, but I dropped my first painting class ever because I was flunking!
