... one idly wonders if one can DIE from taking the recommended dosage of psyllium seed husk.

I'm new to your blog, Perky, so if I haven't yet gotten the info I need to answer properly I apologize.

But can't you just take Benefiber? I love that shit. Doesn't taste like anything, doesn't thicken my coffee or whatever I add it to. It's gotta be better than "psyllium seed husk" whatever-tf that is.

LOL-- my doc specifically told me psyllium seed husk (generic Metamucil), so that's what I went out and got, like a good little literal-minded thing. :) You can bet I'm going to be asking about the other fiber options now, though!

I do love the taste and texture of the psyllium, 'cause I'm a texture freak.
